INFORMATION FOR GUESTS TO HELP DURING THEIR STAY AT BEMBOOKA
About Bembooka:
  • Bembooka has a strong family focus, providing a quality environment where all guests can feel safe, and enjoy themselves and their stay.

  • The lodge is presented to guests as a clean safe environment. It is expected guests will maintain this environment and leave the lodge in the condition it's found.


What Bembooka provides:
  • Accommodation in 8 bedrooms each with ensuite. Bedrooms accommodate from 5 – 8 adults in a mix of double and single bunk beds
  • Doona, pillows and blankets
  • A large lounge area with open fire
  • Spa and sauna
  • A large dinner area
  • A large double kitchen with considerable bench space for food preperation
  • Many options for cooking [ovens, hot plates, Microwaves, BBQs]
  • Two dishwashers
  • Two freezers
  • A large commercial fridge with shelf space allocated by room, as well as space for club supplied milk and spreads
  • Food storage lockers in the kitchen for each bedroom
  • A range of cereals, bread, spreads, milk, margarine,spices, cordial, pasta, rice and tea/coffee making facilities.
  • Separate games room with pool table
  • A transit lounge to store belongings outside check in / out times
  • Laundry with washing machine and two dryers
  • Credit Card facilities for booking accomodation
  • At the front door, direct access to Mt Hotham's extensive cross-country ski trails







What Bembooka guests should bring:
  • Bed sheets or sleeping bag
  • Pillowcases
  • Towel
  • Swimwear - for the spa and sauna
  • All food and drink beyond the basic range provided by the club


Further information for Guests:


Guests are asked to perform some daily duties.

As well, the club asks that all guests assist to maintain Bembooka clean and safe by giving attention to:

  • Keeping their bedroom and ensuite clean and tidy
  • Cleaning up in the kitchen and other living areas after use - including packing the dishwasher after their meal
  • Keeping the drying room and ski storage area clean and tidy, and remove their clothes and boots when they are dry
  • Storing skis and snowboards in the racks provided
  • Cleaning the laundry after use
  • Cleaning the spa and sauna after use
  • Assisting the lodge manager when asked
